The cosy Arctic Spa pool and sauna area is located on the lower level of Hilltop Hotel Iso-Syöte. The charred wooden panels on the pool area walls tell the story of the fire that destroyed the hotel shortly before Christmas in 2018, a moment that became part of the hotel’s history.

Saunas

The spa area features both a traditional Finnish sauna and a steam sauna, perfect for relaxing after an active day on the slopes or a longer cycling trip. The saunas are shared, so please remember to bring a swimsuit and a towel.

POOLS

The pool area features hydro-massage jets and a counter-current swimming system. In addition, the spa includes a large hot tub and a cold plunge pool.

Children under 12 may enter the spa only when accompanied by an adult.

Wellness & Beauty Treatments

Arctic Day Spa, located next to the spa area, offers a selection of wellness and beauty treatments, including facials and massages. The booking calendar opens two weeks in advance.

Prices

Access to the spa is included in all hotel accommodation rates.

The pool area is also open to non-hotel guests, provided there is available capacity at the time. Availability is checked at the reception.

Please note that the spa area is relatively small and may occasionally be full, especially during peak seasons and in the evenings. Entrance tickets can be purchased at the reception.

Information for Spa Visitors
  • No food, drinks, glass or bottles are allowed in the pool or sauna areas.
  • Please shower thoroughly before entering the pool area and always rinse off when moving from the sauna to the pools.
  • The pool area is under camera surveillance.
  • Diving or jumping into the pools is not allowed.
  • The swimming pool depth is 1.4 metres throughout.
  • Water temperatures: swimming pool 29 °C / hot tub 35 °C / cold plunge 6–8 °C.
  • Changing rooms have lockers with programmable number codes. Lockers are emptied every morning during cleaning.
