137 – 155 cm / 4’6″ – 5’1″ size XS

Choose the bikes you need for your preferred rental period. A helmet is included in the rental price.
Bikes can be collected between 10:00 and 14:00. Later returns to reception after 18:00 can be arranged separately upon request.
Riders around 150 cm tall can usually use an S-size electric mountain bike. Likewise, an L-size bike is generally suitable for riders over 185 cm tall.
If you are between two sizes, a smaller bike offers more agility, while a larger bike provides more stability. Contact us if you need help choosing the right size.
We do our best to ensure that your rental experience is smooth and enjoyable. Please read the following terms before renting a bike.
1. Use of the Bicycle
Do not leave the bike unattended. The renter accepts the bike in good condition and agrees to return it in the same condition at the end of the rental period.
The renter agrees to:
- comply with Finnish law and the rules of Syöte National Park
- not adjust or modify any mechanical parts of the bike
Late returns will be charged as follows:
- €20 per bike + €10 per hour
- E-bikes: €20 per bike + €20 per hour
The renter is responsible for any damage to or loss of the bike. If the bike is lost or damaged beyond repair, the replacement value of the bike will be charged.
2. Insurance & Liability
We recommend that renters have appropriate insurance coverage.
Hilltop Hotel Iso-Syöte is not responsible for injuries, illness, or damage to personal belongings.
The renter is liable for any damage caused during the rental period. Lost or severely damaged bikes will be charged according to the replacement value of the bike (€2,600–5,600).
3. Repairs & Maintenance
If the bike breaks down, please do not abandon it. The renter is responsible for returning the bike to the rental location.
All repairs and replacement parts will be charged to the renter unless the issue is caused by normal wear and tear. In such cases, we will provide a replacement bike when possible.
4. Accidents & Release of Liability
The renter releases Lapland Bike Hotel from liability for any damages or incidents arising from the use of the bicycle.
The renter is fully responsible for the bike from pick-up until return.
5. Cancellation Policy
- A €50 administration fee is always charged and is non-refundable
- Cancellations made 21 days or more before the rental date are free of charge, excluding the administration fee
- Cancellations made less than 21 days before the rental date will be charged in full
Hilltop Hotel Iso-Syöte reserves the right to cancel the activity if there are fewer than 4 participants. In this case, all payments will be refunded in full within 14 days.

Cycling Routes in Syöte
The Syöte area offers a variety of cycling routes for both relaxed rides and more adventurous off-road experiences.

Mountain Bike Trails
Duration: 4–8 hours
Difficulty: Moderate+
The route to the Toraslampi wilderness hut is challenging in places but rewards riders with beautiful scenery. Along the way you will encounter elevation changes, more technical sections and a river crossing via a suspension rope bridge. Part of the route runs through Syöte National Park.

This route features steep climbs and fast descents, offering both challenge and variety. Along the way you will encounter rocky sections and varied terrain. The Portinoja shelter is a great place to take a break and enjoy a snack.

This scenic route features mostly smooth and easy-to-ride terrain. Gravel sections and boardwalks make progress easier and provide a comfortable riding experience. Halfway along the route, the Kellarilampi shelter offers a great place for a break.

The route passes through varied terrain across wetlands, pine forests and spruce woods towards the needle-covered trails of Naamankaharju. You can take a break at the Huuhkanen shelter or Kettutupa. The route includes plenty of elevation changes, boardwalk sections and some rocky terrain, while a fast and gentle descent near the end completes the ride.
